Regulatory Links
The Environmental Protection Agency regulates pesticides under broad authority granted in two major statutes, the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. These federal pesticide laws and regulation are administered and enforced by designated regulatory agencies on an individual state by state basis.
